一般描述
RNA binding protein-like (RALγL, NRPCL3, RALγ) is normally expressed in the preimplantation embryo, throughout development, and in all adult tissues examined. Raly interacts with splicing factors such as the alternative splicing factors RBFOX1 and RBFOX2. The expression of RALγ is coordinated with oxaliplatin resistance in colorectal cancers overexpressing the γB-1 protein.

应用
Anti-RALγL polyclonal antibody is used to tag RNA binding protein-like for detection and quantitation by Western blotting and in plasma by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to determine the roles RNA binding protein-like in mRNA splicing and cancer drug (oxaliplatin) resistance.

RALYL belongs to the RRM HNRPC family, RALY subfamily. It contains 1 RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain. The functions of RALYL remain unknown.
