应用
Praseodymium(III) oxide is used as a pigment in glass, optic and ceramic industries. Praseodymium-doped glass called didymium glass is used in welding goggles, since it blocks infra-red radiation. Further, it is used as a dielectric in combination with silicon.

Hygroscopic and air sensitive. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
