Thiocyanate in Water - WP proficiency testing material is produced in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043:2010. This product is also referred to as non-Potable water or Water Pollution sample. Description

• This PT sample is packaged in a 2 mL ampule as a concentrate.
• The solvent for this sample is water.
• The PT sample has not been preserved. It is recommended to prepare and analyze immediately after opening the ampule.The expected concentration range is 1.0 - 10.0 mg/L (ppm).

• Partially fill a 1000 mL volumetric flask with reagent-grade water (near 20 ℃).
• Open ampule PE1149-2ML (be careful to avoid cuts on glass) and transfer 1.0 mL of concentrate to the volumetric flask.
• Fill the flask to volume with reagent-grade water and mix well.
• The sample is now ready for immediate analysis.
