The treated silica gels, whcih may be typically used in the pre-packed multi-layer silica gel columns, are offered in bulk packages. They can be useful for customizing the desired columns to efficiently clean very dirty samples, or to prepare shorter columns when the analytes are relatively clean, e.g. drinking water.
