RNF10 belongs to the RING finger protein family that is involved in neuronal differentiation, development and proliferation. RNF10 regulates neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid in P19 embryonic carcinoma cells. It is a transcriptional regulator of myelin-associated glycoprotein gene that results in myelin formation in Schwann cells.
