一般描述
Bcl-2 inhibitor of transcription/peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase 2 (PTRH2, BIT1, PTH2) is a mitochondrial protein released into the cytoplasm during apoptosis. Bit1 complexes with AES, a small Groucho/transducin-like enhancer of split (TLE) protein, to induce caspase-independent apoptosis. Bit-1 is a mediator of anoikis in cells that lose integrin-mediated cell attachment.

应用

It is used as a probe to determine the roles Bcl-2 inhibitor of transcription in non-caspase apoptosis and cell anoikis.
