Peroxiredoxin 6 (PRDX6) is a thiol-specific antioxidant protein that acts as a bifunctional enzyme. It is involved in modulating the susceptibility of β cells to oxidative stress. Prdx6 deficiency has been linked to impaired homeostasis and cell death/apoptosis. It has also been implicated in papillary thyroid carcinomas.
Rabbit Anti-PRDX6 antibody recognizes pig, bovine, human, mouse, rat, chicken, and zebrafish PRDX6.
