产品说明

一般描述

PBX1 is a nuclear transcription factor that may regulate osteogenesis and skeletal patterning. Studies have reported that PBX1 modulates NANOG expression in human embryonic stem cells.
Rabbit Anti-PBX1 antibody recognizes canine, chicken, human, mouse, and rat PBX1.

免疫原

Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human PBX1

应用

Rabbit Anti-PBX1 antibody can be used for western blot (0.25μg/ml) assays.

生化/生理作用

PBX1 binds the sequence 5′-ATCAATCAA-3′. It acts as a transcriptional activator of PF4 in complex with MEIS1. It may be converted into a potent transcriptional activator by the (1;19) translocation. It also may have a role in steroidogenesis and, subsequently, sexual development and differentiation.

序列

Synthetic peptide located within the following region: MDEQPRLMHSHAGVGMAGHPGLSQHLQDGAGGTEGEGGRKQDIGDILQQI

外形

Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
