Kelch like family member 7 (KLHL7) has BTB (bric-a-brac, tram track, and broad complex) domain in its N-terminal, BACK (BTB and C-terminal Kelch) domain and kelch domain. In human chromosome, the gene KLHL7 is localized on 7p15.3.

生化/生理作用
KLHL7 mediates ubiquitin-proteasome protein-degradation pathway by ubiquitinating cullin (E3) ligase complexes. Mutations in KLHL7 leads to autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa, leading to loss of rods and cones photoreceptors. Mutations in KLHL7 also leads to autosomal recessive crisponi syndrome (CS)/cold-induced sweating syndrome type 1 (CISS1), with high lethality in neonates. KLHL7 is associated with various cancers and Sjogren′s syndrome, an autoimmune disorder.
