Hypoxia inducible factor 1, α subunit inhibitor (HIF1AN) is a protein that has peptidyl-asparagine 3-dioxygenase and peptidyl-histidine dioxygenase functions. It is known to interact with zinc ions and carboxylic acid. HIF1AN may be involved in transcriptional regulation from RNA polymerase II promoter in response to hypoxia.
