Anti-CXCL13 antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.

生化/生理作用

C-X-C motif chemokine 13 (CXCL13) is a protein (B-cell chemokine) encoded by the CXCL13 gene in humans. It functions as a ligand and may guide B lymphocytes to follicles in secondary lymphoid organs. CXCL13 mediates B-cell trafficking and get increased proportionately to disease activity, in many antibody-mediated syndromes. Its level is increased and is a prognostic biomarker in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and COPD. CXCL13 concentration is found to be significantly elevated in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of the group with aseptic meningoencephalitis compared with the group with aseptic meningitis. It may act as a useful marker for predicting the prognosis of aseptic meningitis. CXCL13 may also act as an a biomarker in multiple sclerosis.
