Single nucleotide polymorphism at rs1015213, which is present in the intergenic region between PCMTD1 and ST18 (suppression of tumorigenicity 18), is associated with primary angle closure glaucoma. However, it is not responsible for any phenotypic diversity in the disease severity or progression.
