生化/生理作用
甲磺酸伊马替尼是一种具有抗肿瘤活性的酪氨酸激酶抑制剂。伊马替尼能够抑制由bcr-abl致癌基因编码的Bcr-Abl激酶以及由c-kit和血小板源性生长因子受体(PDGFR)致癌基因编码的受体酪氨酸激酶。甲磺酸伊马替尼通过抑制由CML中费城染色体异常产生的Bcr-Abl酪氨酸激酶，降低了白血病CML和ALL的增殖并诱导其凋亡。 在过度表达c-kit的疾病中，如胃肠道间质瘤(GIST)，通过抑制c-kit酪氨酸活性，可抑制肥大细胞和细胞增殖。
