一般描述
Kovac′s Reagent Strips can be used for the determination of the ability of microorganisms, primarily Enterobacteriaceae, to split indole from the tryptophan molecule. Kovac′s reagent is prepared by dissolving 10g of p-aminobenzaldehyde in 150mL of isoamylalcohol and slowly adding 50mL of concentrated hydrochloric acid.
