应用
Molecular sieves, 5A, 1-2mm (0.04-0.08in) dia. Pellets are used in desiccation and purification of air. It finds application in natural gas and liquid petroleum gas especially for dehydration and desulphurization. In chemistry laboratory, it is used for separating compounds and drying reaction starting materials. In addition, it is used as commercial adsorbents.

Hygroscopic. Incompatible with hydrogen fluoride, strong acids and strong bases.
