1-Hydroxytetraphenylcyclopentadienyl(tetraphenyl-2,4-cyclopentadien-1-one)-μ-hydroteracarbonyldiruthenium(II) is widely used in various types of applications in organic synthesis. It is used for hydrogenation of carbonyls, alkenes and imines. It is also used in the alkylation of amines and amination of propargyl alcohols.
