Homomorpholine Hydrochloride is a useful synthetic intermediate. It is used to prepare homomorpholine oxazolidinone with antibacterial activities. It is also used to synthesize A2A adenosine receptor antagonists for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.

Hygroscopic. Keep away from oxidizing agents, water/moisture. Store under inert atmosphere. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition.
