应用
It is used as a precursor for cesium metal, it act as a phase transfer catalyst, for molecular genetic applications used in preparing nucleic acids for subsequent hybridization or cloning experiments. It a useful compound for density gradient centrifugation, for fractionation of ribosomal subunits, proteins, glycoproteins, and viruses, evacuation of radio tubes, in the preparation of electrically conducting glasses.

Hygroscopic. Store under inert gas. Store in cool, dry conditions, in a well sealed containers. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, water/ moisture.
