Dextran, is used as a multi-use, branched glucan. Low molecular weight dextran is useful as a stabilizer, volume extender, lubricant, binding platform, and matrix component. It is an important raw material and intermediate used in Organic Synthesis, Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals and Dyestuff.
